Lifetime video views is 10.5 million or about 7,000 views per video. Again, total failure but I’ve kept at it uploading every week or two for many years.

I think almost any other creator who gets 8 subscribers per upload would have given up a LONG time ago.

I started uploading YouTube videos in July of 2006. 17.5 years later, I’ve finally hit 13,000 subscribers after 1,503 video uploads. My life as a content creator (photographer, videographer, writer) has always been like this. Just slow consistent growth. Maybe I’ll hit 25,000 subscribers in 10 …

Had a very selfish weekend. 1. Local hotel w/ Heather for a night of baby-free sleep 2. Work annual party on Friday and drank and ate too much 3. Hike with the dog on Saturday 4. Went to the range on Saturday night for 2 hours 5. Replaced brakes and installed new luggage on the touring motorcycle 6. …

Company Holiday party tonight (yeah, poorly named given the date). But we get to dress up. It's also the first time my wife and I have not had a baby with us in 3 months. Looking forward to a night out to dress up and enjoy some adult beverages.

The amount of app store news today is just insane. It's a shame that none of these are coming to USA.

Last night, I was up late watching the Computer History Museum 40th Anniversary of the Mac event. It's not really a community I'm in anymore but watching David Pogue interview Guy, Steve and Susan and seeing in the YT Live chatroom old Macworld friends like Ilene really brought me back in. I …

Last surgery that I know about is today. This one is pretty easy. Just gotta be off the feet for a day and not lift anything heavy for a few days. It's been a wild last 10 months starting with shoulder then ankle, then Invisalign, lasik and now this.

@lakelady I just have a thin wallet so the app was working just fine until recently.

Yesterday, I was trying to get into Costco and had to show my Member card on my app and the greeter had to wait for my app to stop showing me an ad so I could present my digital card. Seems member-hostile to make me wait when I'm literally at Costco doing shopping.

Here are a few examples…

this needs to be a blog post but anyone notice how all of these retailers now are putting up splash pages before they let you shop? Amazon, WalMart, BestBuy and Costco have done it to me in the last month. I am opening your app to purchase something and you present a 5-second long advertisement for …

Looks like we have 15 Apple devices with AppleCare for 2 years for free through BestBuy Total. They all have differing monthly rates but BestBuy calculates it at about $400 per year in AppleCare for my $179. that's before any other benefits like discounts, free delivery, extended returns. …

Although, in my defense I haven't purchased AppleCare in years. I just use Bestbuy's TotalTech to get free applecare on all devices including gifts I buy for friends and my wife. I'm getting my money worth and BestBuy hasn't caught on, kyet.

That’s a lot of AppleCare.

Sounds like a case of the Mondays.

Speaking of, all of this practice has REALLY been paying off. I started practicing about 3 months ago and while I'm still very slow, this accuracy has me blown away
