I swear every day this week I’ve looked in the mirror and thought “are my ears getting larger?” I think that’s a thing but like they look gigantic compared to 10 years ago.
Construction officially starts tomorrow! Have to clear out of the bedroom they’re demolishing tonight and we move out on Thursday. Busy week.
Moving day will be 11/13. Going to move out for a few months for construction.
I don’t use social media so I like Apple Music New Releases which contains artists I listen to or have their songs loaded in my library. My complaint is “singles” Albums I guess are dead and everyone releases singles now. I just want to put on a new album. Where are they?

Continuing to pack. but I think we’re in a good place. Need to figure out storage still and where I’ll put everyting for a few months. a 10x30 storage shed should be large enough for everything and most affordable at just $200 a month.
Starting the Florida Georgia game late with a beer in hand. Still need to do some packing today.
3rd week in a row of teaching classes over the weekend. 2 more weekends after this one then I am taking a month off. Busy but I do enjoy it.
Closed on our construction loan today. Rolling in the $100K I owe on the house and now it’s $600K I owe. Sigh. Should be a good final result.
TomTom has a free app that’s very lightweight and marketed to drivers and the paid app which is more robust but designed for trucks. I’m using the second one still.
If Ads come to Apple Maps, I’m going to find another mobile navigation application. TomTom has unfortunately nearly killed off their paid navigation app rebranding it as something for Trucks / RVs. Amigo, their free app doesn’t support offline maps. Waze & Google have ads.
4 weekends in a row and 5 weeks total in a row teaching classes. Tough work but all for the right reasons.

M1 Max w/ 64GB of RAM. My normal days are about 50% CPU and 30% GPU and about 30% of RAM. When I do upgrade to an M6 class, I can probably stay at 64GB of RAM but unsurprisingly CPU is really where I need the most support. GPU can probably be Pro versus Max.
New week! Still haven’t set a closing date on our loan..sigh but should be soon. We’ve already started packing up and moving things into storage.
Yesterday, I did an oil change on Heather‘s car and today it’s Will change day for the truck. I won’t have access to a garage all winter so even though I’m not too, I’m doing oil changes before it gets too cold to do them outside

I sold an iPhone on 9/27 and dropped it off the same day to a person in Las Vegas who purchased it on Swappa. It was JUST delivered today. It took over 2 weeks for USPS to make its way to Las Vegas then sat for 5 days before being delivered.
Welp, another class in the bag. I have 4 more straight weekends of classes already booked then just one class in December. Trying to prepare for a LOT of house projects so the cash will be helpful.
Feeling much better today. Antibiotics are a miracle. Only needed them a few times in my life and well they definitely work. Final day of the PMP class that I’m teaching and back home tonight.
I’m down in Boston teaching a class for 4 days. This is day 2. But I’m in the ER. Lots of pain, had an ultrasound, appears it’s an infection. I’m getting an injection of antibiotics and an oral prescription. Going to be a rough 2 days remaining of teaching.

Building permit approved! that was our final step. So glad this is finally coming to an end and we can start actually building.
