Well maybe I should have priced it for higher? My MacBook Pro sold in under 2 hours on Swappa. It was priced in the top 20% of listings with the only major difference being AppleCare active through 12/2026 which must have pushed someone to buy it for a premium. One listing was priced $100 more.
Looking forward to official M5 Max Benchmarks but 2X on everything except single core which will be about 1.8X faster. This is just an LLM’s guesses based on M5 Geekbench scores extrapolated over Apple’s SoC claims in today’s press releases:

I know it’s “fake-spring” in New Hampshire but after literally 2 months of a deep-freeze with daily averages being near-0 degrees since New Years Day, I’m so thankful to see a high in the 60s on the calendar. Trying to remodel a house with daily highs at 5 degrees has been really hard.

Bought all of these today from a guy on Craigslist for $125. Nice haul. Moving from a 15U rack to a 42U rack. Same depth but we’re going to move AV equipment to sit under the networking equipment after the remodel.
Oh so other good news, my title paperwork for the my town / NH also arrives monday so I can register my TT RS and order a vanity plate. Not picking up the car until April so plenty of time for the 6 week delay of plate time to work out. Thinking DAZAGUD as my plate.
Here’s the thing, ATF and FBI and an NH based FFL have all verified and approved and I have to sign for delivery and show ID so obviously all checked out including fingerprints uploaded and a full background check but still….I’d really prefer to pick it up in a store. So wild.
Won a .22LR Silencer in a local auction on 12/31. It finally arrives Monday. What’s amazing about how insane modern gun laws are is they’re shipping it directly to my home. I’m not sure how that’s allowed but it is fully legal. WTF?
Also..just got a text from my XPEL guy in Asheville. He has my car in the shop and is doing paint repairs but will have the car for 2 weeks to fully wrap and tint and ceramic coat. It’s going to be SOOO beautiful.
