I broke down and bought an iPad.
Second Home Summer @ the Lake house in New Hampshire. Great to be back with Heather and Matilda. Going to be a great 8 weeks!
We are back in Vermont. Time to hit the trails. #Husqvarna701 #701enduro
Finally, I submitted my paperwork to the Iron Butt Association. While I completed a 1,000 mile ride in 2020 in 24 hours, this time I completed an 1800 mile ride in 36 hours qualifying me for another tier up. I have to say 900 miles a day for 2 days on a motorcycle is zero fun but I get a sticker :P
Final map of the ride.
My 4 week, 11,000 mile motorcycle trip yielded 700 photos that I am really proud of. They're in a single Flickr Album - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adamjackson/albums/72177720318443293 Note, this is from thousands of photos captured.
It was a very long trip. This photo was taken last night after I drove from Mount Rushmore to Asheville in two days.
I told Heather when Matilda was born that we wouldn’t be able to do all of the fun stuff that we usually do and she said it’s all about priorities and she wasn’t wrong
I’m home. I drove 10,800 miles in 24 days. I saw the Arctic Circle, five national parks, and lots of wildlife. I’m home for 12 hours, loading up the motorcycle and heading up to Vermont for three weeks and then a tour of Europe for nine days.
Iâve ridden 1600 miles in 2 days. 225 more to go until Iâm home. Yesterday I woke up on Mount Rushmore. At midnight, Iâll be gone in charlotte. Not bad.
Thanks @clearwaterlights for keeping me safe in #Iowa last night #r1250gsadventure #advrider
Solid riding day. Planning to double it tomorrow for an #IronButt #saddlesore1500
Hmmm, maybe Iâm going to have a wet ride home?
Every time I order a muffin in Montana, it comes with butter
