Just finalized my summer leave. I'm away from work from June 12th until August 26th then back in the office on September 3rd.
Trying to figure out how I provide updates here with my upcoming trip. I can just share random photos. Maybe I link to bits of media online? I dont' plan to blog much but we'll see.
I think next week I'll be camping in a desert.
With the recent arrival of the 16mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.2, I’ve upgraded all of my EF lenses to RF except my last fisheye which I’ll do during Black Friday. These join the 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 lenses.
So close to hitting 100K YouTube views the last 28 days. It never hit and now shows 99.4K. Sigh.

Matilda's first Euro-Trip. Goal is 7 countries in 7 days. She won't remember this trip at all.
I think we’ll go to Europe once baby passport arrives.

The iPad Pro I want with keyboard will cost $2500 before tax. I can get an M3 Pro 14" MacBook Pro with more ram, the same storage and it includes a free keyboard for $2199. It's just so insane now.

An update on iPad, every few years I go without for a while to see if I miss iPad. I do already miss it but it’s not because it can't do anything my mac can't do. For the record, I am on the waiting list for a loaded iPad Pro with all of the features but I'm hoping that the 4 week wait …

I have sold my M1 12.9" iPad Pro for $850. Pretty solid return for a $1599 device purchased 3 years ago. That's net to me after fees. I have not decided if I'm going to replace it yet.
Pre-trip oil change and did some other fluid work. Also, new tires are on and wash is complete. Time to start packing it up.
