Work gave everyone thanksgiving gifts this year. I chose a fresh turkey from Misty Knoll farm. 18 pounder processed within the last 5 days. Very exciting! It’ll be brined tonight.
Weekend in Burlington Vermont. Nice to get away for an evening among all of the work and upending our lives into boxes for the next few months.

The crews were out at 7:30AM. All of the downed trees have ben hauled away and they are going to finish the foundation dig out by this afternoon.
Taught PMP classes all weekend. Great group (all west coasters so I ended at 9PM both days). This concludes my 7 straight weeks of working with no days off. Now I get 4 weeks without classes and I’m fully setup at the in-laws while the house continues to be torn apart.

LOTS going on today. We dropped 5 trees, one was over 100' tall, almost 4 feet away from digging out the foundation back and just need to go down 3 feet now, half of the rock wall is built!

Spare bedroom was hauled off. Scales weighed it at 3 tons.
My 2nd bedroom is now a hole.
On a team meeting as my team watches the 2nd bedroom ripped off is leading to some laughs.
My 2 bedroom home is now a 1 bedroom.

I swear every day this week I’ve looked in the mirror and thought “are my ears getting larger?” I think that’s a thing but like they look gigantic compared to 10 years ago.
Construction officially starts tomorrow! Have to clear out of the bedroom they’re demolishing tonight and we move out on Thursday. Busy week.
Moving day will be 11/13. Going to move out for a few months for construction.
I don’t use social media so I like Apple Music New Releases which contains artists I listen to or have their songs loaded in my library. My complaint is “singles” Albums I guess are dead and everyone releases singles now. I just want to put on a new album. Where are they?
