Hello from Vermont.

Back in Vermont!

On my way to New Hampshire.

“Not now” in UI design continues to be effing annoying. 3-4 times a day a service/app/UI asks me if I want to enable something that is beyond stupid like IMDB asking me if I want to connect my streaming services for MY benefit. My only rejection option is “not now” NOT EVER. This UX paradigm of …

See you soon New Hampshire, #R1200GS #F750GS #EcoDiesel #Ram1500

@MikeTRose I had one until I moved out of NH 5 months ago. Had one all 12 years I lived up there. I’ve never had cell phone service in New Hampshire with any carrier.

In a PMP Boot camp all week.

This seems to always happen before a trip. @beemershop had replaced my Tractive Controller about 2 years ago. This situation is identical. Can’t calibrate the shock, all of the connectors are clean and not broken And clearing codes doesn’t fix it. OEM #R1250GS bikes have the same issue so at …

#OneSentenceMovieReview No Hard Feelings was pretty funny and I'm so glad they pushed through the R-Rating because many of the jokes wouldn't have landed if it was PG-13.

@gruber - that iWiz shoutout at the end…

Two motorcycle oil changes on my lunch break. New record.

Pre-trip to-do list is WILD. I'm going to be knocking stuff off the list all weekend.

2nd allergy test of the year. Eating Chinese food now causes me to break out. FUN.

#OneSentenceMovieReview - Asteroid City lacked a great album and was the most Wes Anderson of all Wes Anderson films with too much 4th wall / poetry to the stage for my liking. —— I think overall (talking about Asteroid City and French Dispatch), Wes needs to go back to his roots. Maybe I’m just …

#OneSentenceMovieReview - Spider-Man (multiverse or whatever it’s called) was 30 minutes too long and I won’t be seeing part 2 but I loved the artistic style of it.

I’m officially 12 weeks after my rotator cuff surgery. Physical therapy is going GREAT and I’m lifting heavy and feeling great. I can finally put on a belt without pain. WOOHOO.

In the office, drinking that hot coffee and putting in work.

Oil change day. Getting ready for our trip.

@oliverames what you mean?

Hanging out in this tire shop for an hour I’m learning people REALLY hate buying tires. It’s entirely cost-based. No questions about treadwear rating, load rating, speed rating or any warranty just “what’s the cheapest?” And people with 2/32 tread left arguing that they’ve only had the tires for 5 …

Tires rotated within 100 miles of 10,000 miles. Damn I’m good. This shop actually uses a wire air-brush to clean the mating surface between the wheels and the hub. NICE JOB. Most shops woudldn’t bother.
