This project involves at least backing up all images to the cloud. I’m relenting by going through Prime Photos since it’s free as a prime user. Roughly 4 terabytes of photos are uploading to prime now. Thanks to my fiber connection, I’ve uploaded about 1 terabyte of them in 2 days.

Local copies of photos/videos will remain on my NAS. Storing the videos AWS would cost me about $1100 a year. There’s cheaper cold storage but I’m better off buying a 20TB WD Ext drive and mailing it to my parents.
