Tried launching HBO Max “Something went wrong” Nothing tells me I need to download a new app.

Went to HBOMax.com and they have a redirect to max.com which means my 1Password / iCloud Keychain don’t auto-fill. I know why (it’s linked to HBOmax.com domain) but most users don’t.

I tried to cancel my $149.99 a year “Legacy Ad-Free” plan, they offered me one option to remain a customer, “$9.99 a month 1080P Ad-Lite” $30 savings but lower res + ads?

Turns out my Legacy will lose 4K in 6 months.
