I did read your post about the surgery but when I saw “replacement” I chose to butt out and not give any unsolicited advice. Mine was a “labrum tear” of only 5mm (just over partial) I was in a sling for 4 weeks with no movement at all. Sling on 24/7 and sleeping upright in a recliner. You can have your ortho surgeon (if insurance covers it) arrange for home care. Just once a day someone to replenish your ice, get some ice packs freezing and help you get in and out of the chair.
