I've started the process of acquiring two NFA items. I have been assigned an ATF agent. How fun! Curious to see just how rigorous this process is compared to how rigorous it should be.

In USA, certain weapons are regulated by the National Firearms Act by the ATF. Forms, up to 1 year wait time, tax stamps, extensive background checks and then limitations after you're approved on what you can do with those items. Fun new world and I'm mostly interested in the process over ownership of the items.
