I picked up my 2 suitcases at ATL after customs. I walked around a corner and dropped them off at the place where you re-check your bag for domestic connections.

2 hours later, I arrived in Charlotte and only one of my bags arrived.

I have a search running with Delta for my bag and am nervous I may never get it back. What's the percentage of bags that are recovered after being lost? This was literally one place to the next, no connections.
