When I bought this house in 2016, the brightest Hue bulbs from Phillips were 800 lumens. Now they're at 1600 lumens. It is painful spending $64 each on these multi color bulbs but our kitchen has 4 in a recessed fixture and so 8 years ago, I spent around $40 for 4 bulbs putting out a combined 3200 lumens.

Today, I'm spending $240 (multi-pack) for 6400 lumens
