@Adam My son has has an iPad mini since he was fairly young (he is almost 12 now got it when I think he was 5-6). Still the same iPad mini so has lasted a long time.

We got a fantastic case for kids (or adults) from Tech21 - the great feature is it has an adjustable handhold or stand that works in both portrait or landscape mode. Combined with impact protection. So far it’s protected the iPad mini well. Not sure if they make one for the current gen but something similar is worth looking for.

@Rycaut Thanks for the recommendation. I’m so happy the latest iPad supports Apple Pencil. She loves drawing and manipulating photos of us and you can hand her this glass tablet with a pencil and she just has so much fun with it. ..no cleanup versus watercolors :P
