One of the biggest upsets when I moved to Charlotte North Carolina was just how expensive insurance was. Depressingly high. Two cars were $2,200 a year for middle of the road coverage. Back in NH, it dropped to $1600 a year and now that I’m renewing for 2026, it dropped again to around $1060 per year for 500/250 coverage. Astounding!!! her’s the October premium compared to April premium. The difficult thing was we ended up moving motorcycles back to NH because this was just for our 2 daily drivers in NC/NH. Four motorcyles in NC was $2500 a year so I ended up taking 2 bikes back to our house in NH since I didn’t ride them very much.
Back in NH, the 4 bikes are $650 a year for 250/150 and additional policy coverages for accessories.
