It was a very long trip. This photo was taken last night after I drove from Mount Rushmore to Asheville in two days.
I told Heather when Matilda was born that we wouldn’t be able to do all of the fun stuff that we usually do and she said it’s all about priorities and she wasn’t wrong
I’m home. I drove 10,800 miles in 24 days. I saw the Arctic Circle, five national parks, and lots of wildlife. I’m home for 12 hours, loading up the motorcycle and heading up to Vermont for three weeks and then a tour of Europe for nine days.

Pretty wicked camping spot last night. Glacier NP tomorrow night.
Traversed Alberta back to BC today via Jasper and Banff. Rest day tomorrow night after a wonderful Canada day. I’ll cross USA on July 4th and explore Glacier NP. Day off in Helena Montana for an oil and tire change at a friends house on 7/5. Then south to Yellowstone.

I have now ridden the entire Alaska Highway (from the opposite way west to east) and made my way to Alberta. Rest day on a petting zoo (seriously) and tomorrow I head down to Jasper/ Banff.
It looks like Arctic Ocean is not going to happen. :( Super bummed but I can't do anything about closed roads.

Hiked around Whitehorse today. The sun sets at 11:47pm. Tomorrow night, I’ll be further north.

Tillamook Oregon.
Taking 2 days off from the trip due to a sprained ankle. Glad I went to a podiatrist. Had to rule out anything broken and we're good. Just have to take it easy for a day or two.
