The correct consumer behavior right now should be saving cash and keeping liquid assets, not buying things on fear that the price will be higher later. A lot of blogs I read were really pushing tariff price increases the past 4 weeks and probably profited greatly over the panic buying.
Millions of content creators, bloggers and pundits who profit on affiliate marketing played into USA consumer fears of “future high prices” to move a LOT of goods in the last 30 days. Truly abhorrent behavior.

I had cancelled my Sigma BF order after initial reviews came out. I just put in another order because I can’t stop thinking about this camera. Unfortunately, it’s likely back ordered until September now. Allegedly they can only manufacture 9 cameras a day. Sigh.

Was going to go camping for 2 nights but it’s the 8th day of rain with flood warnings everywhere and it’s going to rain tomorrow, too. Sigh.

Productive Wednesday. Almost done with my instructor prep work, cleaned house, uphill hike with the dog and I’m realizing I just drank way too much coffee already.

First WiFi 7 device is up and running. Unifi always makes it so easy to associate a new device. In my house, iPhone 16 Pro is WiFi 7 and MacBook Pro M3 (work) is 6E. Rest are WiFi 5 or 6 but I expect that’ll change over the next 18 months.
I have 4 Unifi Access Points in my home that are WiFi 5 standard (purchased in 2016). Enough of my devices are 6E / 7 now that I’m replacing the one that has the most clients connected with a new Unifi Pro 7 access point. I’m skeptical if it’s going to be a quality of life …
