Final day of teaching my 8 day class. Next class starts 1/5 so only teaching one this month but teaching three classes next month. Still, glad to have holiday time with just the one job next week.

House Remodel Progress. Deck goes on next week followed by a slab pour.
Heading to Quebec for a couple of days.
The 4 week days is great but requires taking work off The 2 weekends is hard because I miss family time 2 weeks straight The 8 week nights (M-Thursday) feels like more but baby goes to sleep at 8PM so it’s only missing 2 hours with her.
Enjoying a beer after 4 nights of teaching classes. Not sure which schedule I prefer more. In-Person 4 week days 8-6, two weekends 8-6 Saturday & Sunday or 8 evenings Monday - Thursday 4.5 hours per night. Same hours either way but the split is meaningful.
Of course my new desk lamp had a firmware update.
Was honored this morning to present one of our longest members with an ambassadorship great start to my day.

Ordered a shed today for the house. In retrospect, we should have had our GC estimate building this and matching the shingles & siding to our home but it’s complicated as for why we didn’t do that and I regret having to go this route:

Considering last week we were getting 12 down and 1.5 up for $65 a month, this is $120 a month but way faster. Starlink is pretty impressive and I’m blown away by how low the latency is.
Delicious Thanksgiving dinner with family. Another successful turkey year, too!
