SOON!

New bike day!

Back on the road

I just love this truck. It’s an 800 mile drive each way to pick up my new motorcycle in Troy New York and I will be arriving with 29 miles of range left in the tank. What an amazing fuel economy for a full-size truck I just love it as a perfect road trip vehicle.

Thars better! Rosie is almost back together.

Looks like WalMart is $699 on the same machine and BestBuy has open box (excellent) for $619. The ipad Pro for me with keyboard is great because of cellular. If this had cellular, I'd sell the iPad and go MacBook Air. M1 is good enough and I wouldn't miss iPad OS at all!

I know I'm only like 37 years old but I've been thinking about how crazy living funerals are like could I host one when I'm like 40? Would that be too narcissistic? It could be fun. I'd go to someone else's no matter what their age was but it's also a reminder to say to …

Friday, off at 4pm, sleep until 11PM, then get in the truck to drive 12 hours north to NY so I can pickup the new motorcycle. Sleep and then drive south. Going to be a very long Saturday. Why drive 12 hours for a new bike? Well, MSRP is $27,500 and I'm paying $22,000 cheapest dealer east of the …

Motorcycle is coming back together. I have probably 2 more evenings left of work to get it back together after successfully taking it back to stock / OEM form. It’s listed for sale so good progress. I keep getting pulled into night time meetings at work. 4th night in a row i have an 8PM meeting.

Great progress! Just need to pull the remaining wiring in the back of the bike.

Why do I have a sudden craving for a belgian farmhouse ale? Must be this warm spring weather.

I only went to a mechanic for a Brake Fluid flush because I don't have a lift down here and didn't want to crawl under the truck a million times. Service Advisor on my way out said "you know everyone who comes in here needs something done to their car and yours was perfect. I have …

This does not look like progress, but I promise you it is progress. There was about 100 feet plus of accessory wiring on this bike.

BUSY week ahead. In addition to work, I need to prepare my old motorcycle for sale. also, one hike, 3 weight lifting workouts, range time for practice and by Thursday I need to have a bike loaded up in the truck, get to sleep because Friday after work, I'm leaving to head up to New York to pick …

OEM suspension back in the motorcycle. Almost ready to sell. You’ll never get suspension money back in a sale. Might as well pull it.

Front and Rear OEM #R1200GSA suspension is back in! So much easier to install than the aftermarket shocks because the bodies are so much thinner. Almost back to stock!

I have a mechanic in training.

An evening in #GarminBasecamp to see if it’s possible to link #ORBDR #WABDR #DawsonCity #tuktoyaktuk #Bannf and #continentaldividetrail down to Mexico. It works and under 9,000 miles total. #AdvRider #AdventureRider #dualsport. #dempsterhighway

#RosieRed fuel tank is off. Next is airbox before I can finally pull the front shock and put the OEM suspension back in the front. #R1200GS

#RosieRed is getting taken back to stock. #R1200GSA

“You think you’re so great because you have boats”

It's Friday, WOOT but it'll be raining all weekend so I'm going to strip down my old bike for parts and prepare that bike to go back to OEM so it can be sold. I'm going to miss it. 35,000 miles of riding to some really far-away places.

Totally cropped out the bike on accident in my last post. But I bought this thing yesterday. This will be 5th BMW GS Bike in 10 years and 7th BMW.

@kolin we've all been bamboozled!
